Ms. Wilbanks began her oil and gas career with Santa Fe Energy doing special projects within the accounting department.
She then moved to Joint Interest Billing and Auditing, being promoted to Accountant. After ten years, Barbara transferred to the land department with the title of Oil and Gas Lease Analyst, Gulf Coast and California regions, totaling nineteen years with Santa Fe Energy.
Subsequently Ms. Wilbanks was employed by Seagull Midcon, Inc. for five years as an Oil & Gas Lease Analyst, Oklahoma and Texas regions. After Seagull Midcon, Inc. closed their Amarillo office, she opted out of the move to Houston with Seagull and went to work as an independent contractor for Burlington Resources, Farmington, NM on a land related special project, San Juan Basin region.
Ms. Wilbanks then joined Rio Petroleum, Inc. in 1996 as an Oil & Gas Lease Analyst, Texas Panhandle and Oklahoma regions, and also has the responsibility as Building Manager.
Ms. Wilbanks has a total of fifty years in the Oil & Gas Industry and is currently semi-retired, continuing to work part time for Rio.
